BOOKS & STUFF

Rhyming and rhythm are very important

skills that help a reader learn to use

inflection and animation when reading

aloud. Rhyming also prepares children

to make predictions while learning words

and gives them crucial decoding skills.

Miss Mac Books were written with that in

mind, by artist and educator Donna

McCarthy and contain colorful cartoon

illustrations that depict many unique

characters inspired by all the people out there who are one of a kind. The "Some People's" series is written for those who are learning to read and those who are not yet reading. Toenail Soup and The Ballerina with Really Big Feet are written for pre-school through 4th grade.
